New York Bus Rental Tips: Free NYC Walking Tours (Part 2)

New York City is such a beautiful place that’s bustling with so many activities. And while it is quite an expensive place to be, especially for tourists, there are still things you can do here for free. In fact, New York Bus Rental has a list of free walking tours that you can join in!

These waking tours will allow you to experience the Big Apple’s natural beauty, rich culture, and amazing history without having to spend a lot. If you decide to go on more than one walking tour with a group of friends or family, be sure to get a New York bus rental and not worry about transportation anymore.

Last time, we’ve suggested a couple of these walking tours you can take. Here’s a couple more:

Tours of the High Line

Every Tuesday at 6:30 P.M., the Friends of the High Line conducts a free walking tour that gives you a glimpse of the beauty of the High Line.

The High Line is a park built on an abandoned railway that is elevated from the ground. You can learn more about its history and design on this tour, as well as gawk at the artworks and the plants that have sprouted on the railways.

If you have a particularly big group, you can request for a private tour. A group of 40 people will need to pay $600 for a private tour.

Lower East Side Historic Tours

The Lower East Side Historic Tours is a three-hour tour that takes you to the historical buildings and attractions of the area. Visit the University Settlement, the Eldridge St. Synagogue, Orchard St. Shopping, and other similar attractions.

You can meet at Katz’ Delicatessen every Sunday at 11 A.M. for this fun and free tour!
